What is El Shaddai DWXI PPFI?
El Shaddai DWXI Prayer Partners Fellowship International (El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI) is a Catholic Charismatic Movement that started in the Philippines in 1984. It is widely known simply as El Shaddai and has grown into one of the largest Catholic charismatic communities in the country and around the world with local chapters among Filipino communities abroad.

Name & Meaning: El Shaddai comes from two Hebrew words: “El” meaning God and “Shaddai” often translated as Almighty, so the name is understood as “God Almighty.”

Bro. Mike Z. Velarde is the Founder and Servant Leader of El Shaddai DWXI Prayer Partners Fellowship International (PPFI).
He founded El Shaddai in 1984 as a Catholic Charismatic Movement, dedicated to proclaiming the Word of God, strengthening faith, and bringing spiritual renewal to people, especially the poor and marginalized. Through his Spirit-filled preaching and evangelization, El Shaddai has grown into a global Catholic community with chapters in the Philippines and abroad.
Bro. Mike Velarde is also known for pioneering faith-based media evangelization through DWXI radio, helping spread God’s Word to millions worldwide.
In El Shaddai, he is lovingly called “Brother Mike”, a servant leader who continues to inspire believers to trust in Yahweh El Shaddai—God Almighty.
